Fitting rooms will remain closed at retailers including Kohl’s, Gap, Target and Urban Outfitters as stores reopen during the pandemic, but some are finding ways to offer fitting rooms while altering how they’re used. Saks Fifth Avenue will clean clothes that have been tried on and keep them off the sales floor for 24 hours, and Suitsupply, which depends on custom suit fittings, has installed transparent, plexiglass walls that allow associates to measure customers with little contact.
