Walmart turns to wind for renewable energy source

Walmart, which has pledged to use 100% renewable energy to power all of its operations by 2035, is collaborating with ENGIE North America to add 500 megawatts of new energy capacity generated by three wind projects in Texas, Oklahoma and South Dakota. Thanks to the partnership, Walmart obtained more wind energy in 2019 than any other US company, according to the American Clean Power Association. Read the Progressive Grocer story here
