UK-based Neat Food opened a pop-up location of its Neat Burger concept in New York City, and the company plans to expand the plant-based burger brand in the US with three permanent locations scheduled to open this year. The Neat Burger menu focuses on plant-based proteins made in-house with ingredients such as pea protein, quinoa and fruit extracts that are designed to offer a less-processed profile than competitors such as Beyond Burger.
