Fort Myers’ leading luxury interior design firm, Theory Design, welcomes three new faces to meet the growing demands of its extensive services. This has proven to be Theory Design’s busiest year since its inception in 2018, the company is currently working on new residential construction projects and luxury home remodel designs, with over 40 new projects in the works.

With an impressive track record of over 20 years of luxury interior design and project management experience, Natalie Kight has been appointed Senior Designer with Theory Design. Natalie specializes in luxury custom bespoke interiors, including in-depth millwork and built-in design. Blending artistry with individual expression, Natalie has left her design mark all over the world. In fact, Natalie worked 17 years in Dubai where she created custom designs for royal family members’ palaces and yachts, along with spas, cafés and boutique hotels. In addition to opening a showroom in Dubai where she manufactured furniture, she designed luxury homes in Turkey, beach villas in Bahrain, a Ritz-Carlton restaurant in Moscow, palaces and yachts in Abu Dhabi, and even a hunting lodge in Kazakhstan.

“I’ve had so many diverse experiences throughout my career, and I’m very happy to apply those experiences to a young company that is growing and thriving in such big ways,” said Natalie.

Stacey Bennington, tapped as Operations Manager, brings over 25 years of retail and design experience to the Theory Design team. Stacey will be responsible for establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, sourcing and buying proprietary furnishings, plus other administration and accounting duties. Formerly, Stacey served as a case goods buyer for Clive Daniel Home. Stacey was tasked with buying all bedroom, dining room and occasional products, including occasional tables, wall units and desks. Prior to that, Stacey served as a visual display manager and accessory buyer for Robb & Stucky where she focused her attention on its Sarasota showroom. Before her tenure with Robb & Stucky, Stacey was a store manager for At Home Furnishings.

“This is an exciting time for Theory Design, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of the process with this fast-growing company. The design esthetic that Ruta and her team have developed really speaks to me, it’s intentional and with great creative purpose.

I believe in the brand, and I am committed to the process using my experience in the furniture and design industry to support and curate the Theory vision,” said Stacey.

Sandra Spiro, selected as Director of Marketing, has an extensive marketing and creative background in the retail sector. Formerly, Sandra directed marketing for Robb & Stucky for almost a decade. She was responsible for building its brand from a total restart in 2011 to a leader in the industry as the brand stands today. Prior to Robb & Stucky, Sandra directed creative and marketing services for large advertising and marketing firms in Dallas. Before moving to Texas, Sandra was employed by Lowe’s Home Improvement. There, she managed all retail creative for its in-house corporate advertisement agency in North Carolina.

“I am thrilled and honored to represent this hustling and energetic interior design firm. It is such a tremendous opportunity to be a part of the team that will take an already impressive brand to the next level,” Sandra stated.

“We are very excited to bring these veteran design and retail professionals to our team. They will help us grow our already expanding business and lay the foundation for a retail component in the future,” said Chris Hensley, Vice President of Theory Design.
