HydroCoat, a new product from S3 Surface Solutions, is a specially formulated, water-based epoxy coating/sealer for walls and floors and helps to protect from oil stains. It can also be used as a primer for tile & carpet adhesives, epoxies, and urethanes. The product has excellent adhesion to both old and fresh green concrete. HydroCoat is designed as a tinted coating for smooth and profiled concrete. HydroCoat has a long pot-life, very low odor, good chemical resistance, and dries to a walkable surface in 4-6 hours at 73°F.
Additionally, it is designed to go over smooth, power-trowel concrete; without shooting blast or scarifying the surface. If mechanical surface preparation is required, use a fine-grit mesh.
