Rosendin Holdings, Inc., the parent company to Rosendin and Modular Power Solutions (MPS), is pleased to announce it has established The Rosendin Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit incorporated to positively impact communities through financial grants and volunteer hours.

The Rosendin Foundation was established to positively impact communities, build and empower people, and inspire innovation. The Foundation will partner with community-focused, non-profit organizations in 17-regions across the U.S. to support health including emotional, nutritional, and occupational programs. We are thrilled to launch The Rosendin Foundation to provide essential support for non-profit organizations and the people they serve at this critical time in our country’s history,” said Mike Greenawalt, Rosendin CEO.

The charitable arm of Rosendin Holdings launched its efforts by donating $42,500 to 17 food banks in communities where Rosendin and MPS employees work and live. These donations, listed below by city, provided approximately 170,000 meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity.

•    Tarrant Area Food Bank, Fort Worth, TX

The Rosendin Foundation will also sponsor a National Day of Service for Rosendin and MPS employees to volunteer in food banks across the country when it is deemed safe. In addition, the foundation provided an emergency grant of $2,500 to the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention.

“Due to the impact of the global pandemic, we felt it was incredibly important to not only support the people in our communities who are struggling to put food on the table, but also help the men and women in the construction industry who are struggling to cope with the psychological stress from the economic crisis,” said Jolsna Thomas, President of The Rosendin Foundation.
Starting in early 2021, The Rosendin Foundation will provide financial grants up to $50,000 per organization bi-annually, and emergency financial grants on an as-needed basis, up to $2,500 per organization each year. Grant applications are available on the foundation’s website at https://www.therosendinfoundation.org/grants

Funding for the foundation comes primarily from contributions made by Rosendin Holdings, as well as its employees, retirees, and The Rosendin Foundation fundraisers.
The Board of Rosendin Holdings appointed the foundation’s Board of Directors, which includes Jolsna Thomas, President; Salina Brown, Vice President; Lisa Vere, Secretary; Matt Van Fossen, Treasurer; as well as Matt Hisaka and John Koester as Directors.

The Rosendin Foundation also established a Finance Committee which worked with outside counsel to prepare the bylaws, a Communications Committee to develop awareness, and a Grant Making Committee to develop Giving Guidelines.
