As millennials cope with tight budgets by making more meals at home, consumers age 55 to 64 averaged 220 restaurant visits each last year, more than any other age group, according to NPD Group. The trend has restaurant chains modifying everything from marketing and menus to ambiance in an effort to bring in more of the baby boomers’ business. Read the NBC News story here.
