PTS Contracting Expands Team

PTS Contracting is proud to announce a staff expansion designed to help the rapidly growing commercial contracting firm effectively manage demand for its industry-leading services. Two new staff members have been hired by Phyllis Dellacamera, owner of PTS, which specializes in outpatient healthcare construction and project management. Zach Sawyer, a 20-year veteran of the industry, has joined the PTS leadership team in the newly created role of Vice President, Construction Operations, while Jessica Malise, a talented project management and construction implementation professional, has been appointed Associate Project Manager.

With this additional talent on our team, PTS will be able build upon our foundation of excellence and further our ability to seamlessly execute projects that create broad value for our clients, their end users, and our industry partners.”

In his new role, Sawyer will work with manager Neil Formisano to drive efforts around continued quality improvement in the PTS construction management process. His focus will include enhancing the company’s already stellar reputation for delivering projects on time, on budget and with personalized attention to every detail. Sawyer will also be responsible for growing the bench of talent at PTS and increasing the company’s visibility across market sectors and among business leadership organizations and trade associations.

Prior to joining PTS, Sawyer held an array of roles in healthcare construction, serving clients including Hoag Health, Providence, NewYork-Presbyterian, White Plains Hospital, and NYU Langone, delivering projects from medical office space to hybrid operating rooms. Most recently, he served as regional director at LeChase Construction. Sawyer attended Purdue University and is currently pursuing a master’s in business administration/engineering management from the University of Southern Indiana. He serves on the board of directors of the local nonprofit, Backyard Sports Cares.

With the addition of Jessica Malise, PTS will further optimize its project management process. Malise—who brings a decade of experience in construction management and development with experience working on marquee projects including One World Observatory in New York City and Legoland in Goshen, New York—will help to manage, develop, maintain, and oversee projects at the preconstruction, construction, and post-construction phases.

Prior to joining PTS, Malise served as an associate project manager at Jones Lang Lasalle in New York City. She also held operations, marketing and consulting, and research roles at CNY Group and JRM Construction, where she gained extensive knowledge of the building process as well as experience in commercial, retail, industrial, healthcare, and site development construction. She attended Berkley College where she earned a degree in applied science, marketing, and communications.
