Popeyes’ plan to build a global brand

The chicken sandwich that took the quickserve market by storm has spurred Popeyes to focus on global growth. The Restaurant Brands International-owned chain is expected to open its first UK and Australia locations, and last year’s opening of the first China unit is the start of a plan to grow to 1,500 franchise locations there in the next 10 years.
