Plans for $300M casino-hotel project in Virginia advance

The United Co. has submitted plans to demolish the site of a former mall in Bristol, Va., to make way for a $300 million development that will include a casino and two hotel towers. The project, which will create more than 1,000 construction jobs, is expected to take up to two years to complete. Kingsport Times News
