New purposes found for former Sears stores

Spaces that were once home to Sears stores are finding new tenants, sometimes continuing as retail space and sometimes being transformed for other purposes, such as classroom or lab space, according to The New York Times. For example, at PREIT’s Moorestown Mall, a former Sears store is being converted into a medical clinic associated with Cooper University Health Care network.
