The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), the business association of the nation’s engineering industry, is pleased to announce that Jay Wolverton, registered Professional Engineer (PE), has been nominated to serve as the 2022-2023 Chair-elect of the Board of Directors.
“With more than 35 years of engineering and leadership experience, Jay will bring a valuable perspective to our national organization,” said ACEC Chair Robin Greenleaf. “He is a proven leader in the engineering industry and his work to convey the mission, culture, and vision to staff while serving as a mentor for principals and officers of the firm makes him a great fit. His experience will benefit the Council as we work to expand our voice in Washington and beyond.”
Wolverton is the executive vice president and chief growth officer for CHA Consulting, Inc. In his role, Wolverton provides strategic oversight and direction for market leaders, business development, and corporate marketing, with a focus on the significant growth anticipated for the company. Prior to joining CHA, Wolverton was the founder and CEO of Wolverton & Associates, which was acquired by CHA in June 2019 and has been fully integrated and rebranded as CHA.

Wolverton is a licensed Professional Engineer in 32 states.
