McDonald’s updates McCafe to compete with Starbucks, Dunkin’

McDonald’s will revamp its $4 billion McCafe concept in 2017 to better compete with Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts. The upgrade to the 8-year-old brand includes more seasonal drinks, a stronger push for its coffee rewards program, updated espresso machines and specials that emphasize McDonald’s lower prices compared with competitors.
