Massive international hotels drive brand recognition

Several U.S. hotel chains are aiming to introduce their brand identities to foreign consumers through new supersize hotels equipped with their brands’ latest amenities, this feature says. The 3,863-room Sheraton Macao Hotel and the 1,224-room Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central opened last year at Sands Cotai Central, looking to capture foreign demand in the Asian gambling hub. In Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Marriott International is preparing to officially launch its largest property – the 1,608-room JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Read the USA Today blog story here.
