Macy’s will open 37 new off-price Backstage departments at stores around the country between April and June, including at the retailer’s New York City and Chicago flagships. Backstage in-store shops range in size from 11,000 to 16,000 square feet and offer lower prices on a mix of merchandise, some of it from brands that aren’t sold elsewhere in Macy’s. Footwear News
