Lego to build $1B US toy factory in Virginia

Lego will spend upward of $1 billion to build its second North American factory in Chesterfield County, Virginia to move production closer to the US market where demand continues to grow. The 1.7 million-square-foot plant, slated to open in 2025, will be the seventh worldwide for the Denmark-based toymaker, and a solar park on the property will supply the factory with renewable energy.
