MINNEAPOLIS, M.N. – International architecture, engineering, planning and interiors firm LEO A DALY has hired Lance Kempf, PE, as Director of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for its Minneapolis office. In this role, Kempf will manage and mentor teams on a wide range of educational, institutional, government, corporate, manufacturing/distribution, science, and technology projects.
Kempf is an expert in managing complex engineering projects, known for his collaborative approach with owners, construction managers, contractors, code officials, and commissioning agents. His love of architecture and attention to both exceptional engineering and personnel management ensures quality, efficiency, and project success for LEO A DALY’s clients.
He joins LEO A DALY from LKPB Engineers, Inc., where he was  responsible for all aspects of project engineering and construction management on large commercial and educational facilities. As a Senior Engineer for HGA Architects and Engineers in Minneapolis he managed teams on projects ranging from the Walker Art Center expansion and remodel to an African penguin habitat and associated life support systems for the Minnesota Zoo.
