Edward Lampert plans to sell or lease some of the 223 Sears and 202 Kmart stores he acquired in a recent auction, and will focus on opening smaller stores, according to The Wall Street Journal. The deal also included the Kenmore and DieHard brands, and future stores will devote less space to fashion and more to tools and appliances.
