JC Penney moves beauty strategy beyond Sephora

JC Penney will rebrand its beauty section and broaden its product assortment in the category when Sephora begins its partnership with Kohl’s this fall after 15 years with Penney’s. The department store will also team up with online beauty retailer Thirteen Lune, which focuses on brands owned by people of color, to open in-store shops starting in October.
