Emissions levels from IKEA’s supply chain dipped 6% in the 12 months through last August compared to pre-pandemic levels, despite a rise in production and sales, the Sweden-based furniture retailer reported. The progress in reducing emissions everywhere from the sourcing of raw materials to the disposal of products after they’re used puts IKEA on schedule to reach its goal of becoming climate positive by 2030.
