City leaders in Middletown, Ohio, have approved $1 million for a purchase agreement to buy Towne Mall Galleria as a part of an overall plan to redevelop the mall into a sports and entertainment complex that will include retail, bars, restaurants, hotels and residential properties. The city is also expected to approve the remaining $15 million needed for the purchase, which is scheduled to close in June. Dayton Daily News
