DF Multifamily, a division of Drucker + Falk (DF), one of the nation’s most prominent multifamily management companies, recently assumed the leasing and management of Rivers Walk, a new apartment home community with first-class amenities in Boone, North Carolina. The town is widely known for being home to Appalachian State University (ASU), a public university founded as a teachers college in 1899 with an enrollment of more than 19,000 students.
The area has had a longtime need for updated, modern apartments for student living, and DF is happy to be a part of this new development in the town. Rivers Walk Apartments includes 146 apartment homes, offering studio, one, two, three and four bedroom units and approximately 7,500 square feet of commercial office or retail space. Possible uses for the unique commercial space include retail stores, office space, and food service. The luxurious apartment interiors are fully furnished, boast granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, large vanities in the bathrooms, expansive closets, full-size washers and dryers, and are rented by the bedroom.
Catering to young professionals and students alike, Rivers Walk residents are getting more than just an apartment home. The highly anticipated amenities include a yoga and spin studio, a gorgeous pool with grilling stations, bike storage, a cardio and weight-training room, a social lounge, keyless fob entry, convenient elevators, optional park views, several study zones and workstations peppered throughout the community, and more. Rivers Walk is a pillar of modern design and function, but still humbly reflects the style of the town.
For the ASU student, Rivers Walk is a three-minute walk to campus and is a block from the heart of downtown Boone and King Street. With nearly 67% of the roughly 19,000 ASU students living off-campus, Rivers Walk will be a welcome addition to students looking for off-campus housing. The ideal renter at Rivers Walk is one who appreciates the character and vibrancy of Boone, and values savvy floor plans and quality amenities. History buffs will be interested to learn that the Rivers Walk community is the former site of the Southern States CoOp building, revitalizing some of the rich history of Boone.
Lisa Narducci Price, Drucker + Falk’s Director of Business Development + Property Development, says, “Drucker + Falk is excited to begin this journey with Rivers Walk as we feel it brings a new and refreshing way of apartment living to the community of Boone. Rivers Walk is focused foremost on the needs of its future residents and is so excited about the walkability the community provides, the gorgeous interior finishes, and the unique commercial possibilities of this off-campus community.”
