Dollar General plants trees to promote sustainability

Dollar General is donating $100,000 to fund the planting of 20,000 trees through a series of employee-driven projects around the country. The retailer is working with the Arbor Day Foundation on the program, which will focus efforts on areas dealing with water quality and deforestation issues. Read the Progressive Grocer story here
