Off-price retailer Burlington Stores is looking to open 100 new stores this year and sees potential growth from its current roster of more than 750 stores to about 2,000 in the future. The retailer is planning a smaller format to take advantage of real estate opportunities left by the closure of stores including Pier 1 and Modell’s Sporting Goods. Read the CNN story here
