Burlington Coat Factory parent to go public

Burlington Coat Factory parent Burlington Holdings has filed plans for an initial public offering that could raise up to $175 million to help the company pay down debt. The 503-store discount apparel retailer was founded in 1972 and taken private in 2006 when Bain Capital bought the company for more than $2 billion. Read The Wall Street Journal story here.
