Big-D Midwest, a subsidiary of Big-D Construction, recently completed construction on Sonder House and Sonder Point Senior—two multifamily, affordable housing units located adjacent to one another in Brooklyn Center, MN.

The $68 million Sonder Campus marks the fourth project that Big-D Midwest has completed for Real Estate Equities. While both apartment complexes are focused on renters making 60% AMI or less, Sonder Point Senior is for those age 50 and above.

Sonder House is a four-story, 127-unit housing community offering one, two and three-bedroom units. Major features include a rooftop clubroom with kitchen, rooftop patio with grills and firepit, fitness center, and a first -level outdoor patio with a grilling station and firepit. Big-D also completed construction of a tot lot and dog run for the building.

Sonder Point, which shares a parking lot with Sonder House, is a five-story, 143-unit development comprised of one and two-bedroom units.  The property features an attractive exterior design with modern amenities and high-quality interior finishes. Other features include a rooftop clubroom with kitchen, rooftop patio with grills and firepit, fitness center, arts and crafts room, salon, and first floor clubroom with kitchen.
