Arriscraft, manufacturer of naturally-made products that emulate quarried stone, has expanded its natural limestone offering with Parliament Adair® Limestone. Arriscraft is the stone products group of General Shale, the North American subsidiary of Wienerberger AG and a leading manufacturer of brick, one of the world’s oldest green building materials.

“We’ve recently increased our extraction capabilities at our Ontario limestone quarry and, in turn, expanded our finishing equipment,” says Marta Zonneveld, Marketing Manager. “So, today, we are excited to announce our Adair® Parliament Limestone. These new quarried limestone units open up new opportunities for our architectural clients to incorporate our beautiful Adair limestone on commercial and high-end residential projects.”

Adair Parliament is designed for coursed installation (laying one size continuously), which is an efficient option to a classic ashlar pattern, which is also available. Parliament features a rugged split face finish and natural sepia tone, and is available in three face rises (3-5/8″, 7-5/8″ and 11-5/8″) at random lengths up to 35-5/8″.

Arriscraft’s Adair® Limestone is a natural, quarried stone harvested in the Georgian Bay region of Ontario. Since the 1960s, the quarry has offered Blue-Grey and Sepia tones. In addition to Parliament, Arriscraft produces Adair® Masonry Units, Anchored Dimension Stone, Tile, Landscaping Stone, and Thin Adair®.

Arriscraft manufactures a vast range of premium stone for commercial and residential projects, including full-bed Renaissance® Masonry Units and Building Stone, Thin-Clad adhered and clipped veneers, Adair® Limestone, and cast accessories. Designers can select from a truly comprehensive line of styles – from old-world to contemporary – in natural colors, with custom applications available.

Headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario (62 miles/100 km west of Toronto), Arriscraft is the stone products group of General Shale, North America’s largest brick, stone and concrete block manufacturer, supplying a wide variety of masonry materials for residential, commercial and specialty architectural projects.

Throughout the U.S. and Canada, General Shale operates manufacturing facilities in nine states and provinces, in addition to a network of 31 distribution centers across the United States.
