American Lighting, a leading manufacturer of high-quality lighting innovations for residential, commercial and specialty projects, unveils its Trulux Series of Tape Lights to include High Output COB, High Output Warm Dim and Vega 1000Lm+ per foot for uniform illumination.

A streamlined and efficient solution for any space, the COB Tape Light adds the ideal amount of brightness to low clearance areas and reflective surfaces. Its seamless design provides uniform illumination without the need for additional diffused covers or accessories, essentially eliminating dotting and spot-glare effects. It offers 90+ color rendering index (CRI) and is available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K with lumen output ranges from 349 lumens to 448 lumens per foot.

Like the dimming of an incandescent lamp, the Dim-to-Warm tape light has the ability to transition from a bright and inviting 3000K to a warm and intimate 1800K color temperature. It’s simply controlled with a 24V dimmable power supply and compatible dimmer switch – no additional controls required. It offers 90+ CRI, plus lumen output up to 335 lumens per foot.

The Trulux Vega Series tape light offers the benefits of extreme light output in an ultra-compact LED tape light strip. Its close diode spacing provides a seamless line of lighting to create perfect solutions for general ambient lighting applications. Available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K with 80+ CRI and lumen output ranging from 1030 lumens to 1116 lumens per foot, Vega is one of the brightest tape lights on the market.

Simple installation is a hallmark of the Trulux Series as each of these tape lights feature 3M VHB adhesive backing. All are also easily cuttable for maximum versatility, every 1.96” for COB, 2.16” for Dim-to-Warm and 1.4” for Vega. The Dim-to-Warm and Vega Series both maintain an IP54 rating for indoor dry and damp locations, thanks to their nano-coating protective layers. Meanwhile, COB tape light features IP ratings such as IP20, uncoated with LEDs for indoor dry locations and IP65, jacketed for indoor/outdoor wet and damp locations with a clear silicone layer to protect from water and dust. The three tape lights are dimmable 5 – 100 percent with most ELV, TRIAC dimmers and offer 50,000 hours rated life.
