A-Systems was founded by computer pioneer, Michael Wise. Wise created the “Sphere 1,” one of the first PCs ever made. In 1977, a contractor asked Mike to write an accounting system for his construction company. Mike successfully built the software to the contractor’s specifications, and in 1978 he organized A-Systems to begin selling the software to other contractors. A-Systems continues to provide robust accounting software to the construction industry.
A-Systems JobView was built specifically for contractors, with job costing at the heart of the system. Because financial risk is high in the construction industry, controlling costs is critical. A-Systems provides tools to help contractors effectively track expenses on each project, thus protecting their profits.
Some of the job cost reports available in A-Systems JobView include: estimated vs. actual costs, labor & materials, money spent-to-date, contract balances, cost to complete estimates, and more.
Through the decades, A-Systems has continuously improved their software based on valuable customer feedback. Despite its many features, A-Systems JobView is still easy to learn and use. The software is available for both desktop or cloud-hosted environments.
