Over 75 women, representing 56 companies and organizations participated in a day of professional development and networking.
Workshops included included “Opening Keynote with “Keane Communications”, “Communicating with Influence”, “Negotiating for Yourself“, “Company Culture and You”, “Diversity is Good for Business” & “Mentors, Sponsors and Networking“.
Nancy Juneau, President of Juneau Construction delivered an inspiring luncheon keynote sharing her personal story and emphasizing the importance of treating your employees well. The day wrapped up with a panel of powerful women in construction sharing their advice for chartering a path in the industry.
As one attendee stated, “This conference created a great opportunity to feel empowered and to see women being supportive and encouraging of each other”.
We are excited for future Building Connections events with several regional conferences planned for 2019.
