On Friday, February 22, 2019, development and construction firm Skanska topped out at its sixth development in Greater Boston, Two Drydock, located in the Eastern Seaport. The 12-story, 225,000-square-foot, Class-A office building will soon boast 9,500 square-feet of ground floor retail, 150 parking spaces, a 12,000-square-foot-public plaza, ample bike storage, and a 7,500-square-foot rooftop terrace with stunning city views and a state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms and showers. Forming the building’s steel structure also required about 5.8 million pounds of steel, 42,172 bolts and 1,776 steel beams.
