Retro hotel debuts at transformed TWA terminal

The TWA Hotel in New York City’s noted Trans World Airlines terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport opened recently, 18 years after the terminal closed and five years after the developer proposed the ambitious project. The hotel recaptures noted architect Eero Saarinen’s 1962 design as well as the TWA branding, flight uniforms and other elements of the period. Read the United Press International story here
