IKEA follows consumers to big cities with small stores

IKEA‘s urban store in Warsaw, Poland, is about one-fourth the size of the retailer’s typical sprawling stores and is one of about 30 planned for major world cities to meet changing consumer needs. The shops offer design help and other services in addition to smaller home goods, and kiosks where shoppers can place online orders for larger pieces. Read The Associated Press story here
